QUESTIONS, LOAN & RETURN
 | QUESTIONSThe contact point of our library is our information desk. One of our librarians is always available for your questions. You can also contact us by phone (05572 792 2100) or e-mail (bibliothek@fhv.at) during our opening hours. |
 | LOANIf you want to borrow books, please use our self-checkout next to the information desk. For detailed instructions, please refer to How does the self-checkout work? The loan period for media is 4 weeks. An extension is possible within the maximum loan period of 12 weeks, provided that media are not reserved by other users. |
 | RETURNIf you want to return media, please use our book drop on the ground floor in front of the library entrance. |
LIBRARY SEARCH ENGINE OLAV
You can also use our library search engine Olav to conduct research outside the campus. If you want to access e-books, e-journals or licensed databases from home, you need to be connected via VPN (vpn-in) to the network of Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences or you have to log in via Shibboleth.

ACCESS TO E-BOOKS, E-JOURNALS AND DATABASES
 | Olav allows you to search in almost any database, e-book and e-journal at FH Vorarlberg at the same time. For more sophisticated and extensive research, however, we recommend you to research on the individual platforms. An overview of all resources licensed by our library can be found on our homepage. Access to the e-books, e-journals and licensed databases is available campus-wide.
